22-Watt BTL Dual Audio Power Amplifier Kit

This kit is a very clean-sounding 22-Watt per channel BTL Dual Audio Power Amplifier. 

It uses the KIA6210AH Linear Audio Amplifier in a 17-pin  configuration. It is a two-channel amplifier designed for car audio use at 14v operation. It is rated for 22 watts per channel into a 4 Ohm load. Check out the datasheet for more specific information

It has two independent channels with independent volume controls. The Inputs and Outputs can be configured with either 2-pin screw terminals or RCA female jacks. You will get both sets so you can configure it as needed.

It will drive a 4 or 8 Ohm speaker, 25watts or better, per channel.

The PCB is is approx 4.30" wide x 2.5" deep. Fully assembled it is 1" high. The PCB is FR-4, double-sided, plated thru-hole and is 0.062" thick. Bottom side has noise reducing ground plane. It has 3 mounting holes.

A heatsink is required when running at maximum power. The tab on the KIA6210AH is grounded so it can be directly connected to a heatsink to chassis ground.

The operating voltage is from 9vdc to 15vdc. It has a 220uF Capacitor on the input power for additional filtering. You will need a DC power supply capable of delivering at least 2 amps, a 25-watt or better power supply will work just fine. It will work perfectly off your car's power supply (14.4v). A wall-mount power supply that is not regulated may produce hum, avoid them if you can.

This is a kit. You will need soldering tools and supplies. A speaker is required, none is supplied. A Heatsink is highly recommended, none is supplied. Knobs are included.
