This Guitar Audio Amplifier Kit is a very clean-sounding 32-watt Guitar Amplifier. The Amplifier is rated at 0.03% THD with 15v into a 4 Ohm load. This is great for learning new songs or just playing along with your favorite music. And you get the fun of building it.

It will accept your guitar input via a 1/4" phono jack. The input is a very-high impedance FET circuit. The guitar sound is then routed thru a Marshall Tone Stack with Bass, Mid and Treble controls. The Marshall Tone control portion uses Mylar (Metalized Polypropylene) Film capacitors for excellent audio characteristics. It is then fed to an OP Amp pre-amplifier with external frequency compensation for frequency stability prior to going into a Class AB, 32-Watt audio amplifier. Connect the output to your speaker cabinet for a neat experience. It will drive a 4 or 8 Ohm speaker, 25 watts or better. The PCB is approx 3.8" wide x 4.8" deep.

The output is available at a 1/4" jack AND at a 2-pin Screw Terminal. You get both in the kit. You will also get knobs for the controls.

The operating voltage is from 12vdc to 18vdc. It has two 1000uF Capacitors on the input power for additional filtering. You will need a power supply capable of delivering at least 3 amps, a 35-watt or better power supply will work just fine.

This is a kit. You will need soldering tools and supplies. A 4 to 8 Ohm, 40W speaker is required, none is supplied.

We also offer this as a Built & Tested unit for those that do not want to build it themselves.
