LED Lightning Bolt Strike Kit

This kit is designed to emulate a Random Lightning Strike. This works great as a background lightning source.

It has a "Z" pattern of 19 Bright White LEDs (5mm) that are microprocessor controlled by a PIC16F57. The Lightning Strikes start off as random bolts of two or three flashes in the distance. It does this for a short while. Then, there is a massive 19-LED Lightning Bolt up close. It lights up a dark room very nicely. It then continues with random strikes in the distance before it loops and does it over again.

It runs off 9v to 15v. The PCB is 4.75" x 2.5" and is a little over 3/4" high. It has 3 mounting holes. The PCB is double-side with plated-thru-holes. The LEDs can be mounted on the front or the back..

This is a kit. You will need soldering tools and supplies.
